Give Local York, an on-line fundraiser, is coming up soon! This is an easy way to raise funds for York Twinning Association, but we need your help!
In addition to making a donation of your own, we are asking that you contact 3 or more friends and ask them to join you and make a donation to York Twinning Association during the Give Local event between 9 PM April 30th and 9 PM May 1st. We have already secured $1,250.00 in matching funds from two donors! Our goal is to raise an additional $4,000.00 this year. We are hopeful that goal can be reached with your help!

How can you help?
- You can reach out personally by phone, or by email.
- You could also print out the attached sign, take a photo of yourself holding the sign, and send it along with your email or post it on Facebook or LinkedIn with a short message encouraging people to make a donation. Sharing your own story and connection to YTA is a great way to capture their attention.
- You can add the sign with the QR code or just add the QR code to any social media links along with a short message to encourage people to donate.
- York Twinning Association (YTA) has given me (us) a chance to meet people who enjoy traveling and making lifelong friendships with friends in Arles, France and Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany. Scan the QR code and join me (us) to make a donation to YTA during Give Local between 9 PM April 30th and 9 PM May 1st
- York Twinning Association (YTA) has provided hundreds of adults and students with the chance to travel to Arles, France and Leinfelden-Echterdingen, German creating memories and lifelong friendships. Help us continue providing those opportunities by donating to York Twinning Association between 9 PM April 30th and 9 PM May 1st during the 2026 Give Local Campaign.
- York Twinning Association (YTA) was able to award $1,200.00 in scholarships to York County students who will act as YTA ambassadors when traveling to Arles, France or Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany this summer. Please consider donating to York Twinning Association during Give Local York, between 9 PM April 30th and 9 PM May 1st, to allow us to continue cultural exchanges and help strengthen our community’s international connections.
