​French Adult Exchange

Jennifer Grim and Diane Reimert are YTA Co-Chairs for the Summer 2026 exchange for French adults visiting York. August 3rd to August 10th have been confirmed as the official dates for that exchange. A committee is working on programs for their week long visit. Anyone interested in helping with events or hosting French guests should contact Jennifer at [email protected] or Diane at [email protected]

During French Adult exchanges to York, groups are greeted by YTA host families.  There is a welcome celebration and farewell dinner for the entire group.  Weekends are spent with host families.  Group excursions are planned throughout the week to places that may include York, Hershey, Baltimore, and possibly Washington, D.C.  York adults had a wonderful visit to Arles, France Summer 2023.  Check our September newsletter for photos and other     information about that visit.  French adults from Arles, France will be visiting York in 2026.  Visits usually last between 10 days and 2 weeks. Specific dates for the French visit to York are not yet confirmed.
