Harrison Swartz
German Student Program Co-Coordinator
Harrison has been involved with YTA since 2009 in a number of different ways. He started off hosting German students in high school and has served on the board as a marketing/social media director prior to being the German Student Co-Chair. As the co-chair, he helps to plan the two yearly exchange trips and even chaperones the day trips to D.C. and Baltimore each October. Harrison grew up locally and graduated from Dallastown High School in 2013. He has since graduated from the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland with a degree in News and Sports Broadcasting and will graduate from Penn State in 2018 with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising. In high school he took three years of German and while at Penn State he studied it for two semesters. Outside of YTA, Harrison has worked in college baseball down in Baltimore, MD since 2014. He's the Assistant GM and Marketing/PR Director for the Baltimore Redbirds, previously serving as their radio broadcaster for the past four years. He's also the radio broadcaster for the Johns Hopkins University baseball team. In his free time, Harrison enjoys watching and attending Baltimore Orioles and Ravens games.
